Custom Truss project for 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships

Project Highlights: We were able to use many of our shop capabilities in this project working with Aluminum. The application was to create a custom truss section that would fit around existing light fixtures at the Solaris plaza.

IMTS conference in Chicago, IL

Learning from experts in the industry is important to us. We were able to attend the IMTS conference in Chicago, IL this September. The trade show highlights all the new technologies in the machining and fabrication industries. Highlights of the show for us were being able to test out a welding simulation at the Lincoln Electric booth, watch a variety of CNC equipment in action, meet the vendors, and see new product launches.

During the week of the conference, there was a 3D printer making an entire electric car. They printed the car parts each day of the show and on the last day we were able to see them drive the car across the show floor.
